“I’d Reconcile If He Apologised” — Odumodublvck Sets Condition for Peace with Blaqbonez

Odumodublvck Survives Ghastly Car Accident

Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck has said he is open to ending his long-running feud with fellow rapper Blaqbonez, but only on one condition — a direct apology.

Speaking in a recent interview with Pulse, Odumodublvck made it clear that reconciliation is possible, but accountability must come first.

“I’d reconcile with Blaqbonez if he apologised.

My rift with Blaqbonez is personal. But I won’t rule out the possibility of reconciliation because there is nothing God can’t forgive. However, you can only forgive a contrite heart.”

“Real Men Don’t Behave Like That”

Odumodublvck claimed that intermediaries — including “big artists” — have tried to broker peace between them.

However, he alleged that Blaqbonez has refused to apologise, either directly or privately, out of concern that it could damage his public image.

“You are sending big artists to come and beg me but because you want to maintain a social image, you don’t want to apologise even in private because you feel I would expose you if you do.

Real men don’t behave like that. I can’t possibly post someone’s apology online. If you can’t humble yourself, you will be stunted.”

The remarks suggest that, from Odumodublvck’s perspective, the dispute extends beyond music to issues of pride and personal integrity.

How the Feud Escalated

The tension between both artists became public in mid-2025 after Blaqbonez released Who’s Really Rapping, a track widely interpreted as containing subliminal shots at Odumodublvck.

Odumodublvck responded on social media at the time, writing:

“I’m everything you want to be.”

The situation intensified further in October 2025 when Blaqbonez dropped ACL, which included verses many fans again interpreted as jabs at his rival.

The conflict drew commentary from within the hip-hop community, including veteran rapper Erigga, who cautioned that a prolonged beef could undermine the unity and growth of Nigerian hip-hop.

More Than Rap

Odumodublvck has since clarified that the issue is not strictly lyrical competition. According to him, personal matters and loyalty to people close to him also contributed to the fallout.

For now, the door to reconciliation appears open — but only if a formal apology is made.

Whether Blaqbonez will respond directly remains to be seen.
