Nollywood actress Ruth Eze has strongly criticized her colleagues who are celebrating the late Junior Pope’s posthumous birthday.
Junior Pope tragically drowned in Anam River in Anambra State, along with some crew members. May 7th would have been his 44th birthday, and many of his colleagues posted tributes on Instagram in his memory.
Ruth Eze questioned if these colleagues had celebrated Junior Pope when he was alive, and if not, she demanded to know why they are now celebrating him after his death. She called them hypocrites and challenged them to justify their actions.
“Did u ever celebrate him when he was alive? If NO, give me one reason u’re celebrating him now he’s dead”.
“Hypocrites, pls answer me”.
Although she did not mention anyone by name, many speculated that she was referring to Baba Rex, who had posted a tribute to Junior Pope and disabled comments.
