Susan Peters, a Nollywood actress, has hinted at walking down the aisle for the second time.
The talented actress published a photo of herself in a traditional wedding gown on her Instagram page, announcing that her dating days are over. Though she did not go into detail, she expressed gratitude to everyone who helped make her day possible.
“My dating era has come to an end, thanking those who participated”.
Recall that Susan Peters married her Dutch lover in a traditional wedding ceremony held in 2015 in Benue State. The couple later married at Ikoyi Marriage Registry, Lagos State.
Trouble began when Susan and her husband lived miles apart from each other. The actress was already pregnant with their first child when it was rumored that the marriage had collapsed. She unfortunately lost the pregnancy and hung on to her marriage till it collapsed.
Distance played a role in their break-up as Susan was not willing to sacrifice her robust acting career and fully settle down, and this forced her husband to indulge in extramarital affairs in her absence.
In 2023, Susan opened up on one of the major reasons her marriage didn’t work, blaming it on her ex-mother-in-law, who she claimed never liked her because of her skin colour.
