Habeeb Okikiola, also known as Portable, will stay in police custody after failing to meet the bail conditions required for his release.

When efforts to persuade Portable to pay the remaining failed, the vehicle dealer reported the incident to the authorities, and officers assigned to investigate detained the Zazu singer.

When confronted by police, the singer vaulted a gate in an attempt to flee, but was apprehended by officers.

According to the Lagos State Police Command’s spokesman, Benjamin Hudenyin, on Wednesday, the singer will remain in detention until he can produce a reliable surety and be granted bail.
