Wofai Fada, a Nollywood actress and comedian, has broken her silence on her in-laws’ public statement to reject her marriage to Taiwo Olakitan Cole.
Wofai Fada previously published stunning images of herself and her sweetheart, whose identity she initially kept hidden from the world.
The pre-wedding images show her flashing off her engagement ring while kissing her husband.
Following this, Creebhills reported earlier that Wofai Fada’s in-laws had issued a disclaimer rejecting her marriage to their son, Taiwo Cole.
It was made public via a statement released to the media from the Cole Family of Victoria Island Lagos.
The statement, which Engineer Kunle Cole signed on behalf of the family, noted that all acquaintances, family, and friends are unaware of any marriage between their son, Taiwo Olakitan Cole, and Wofai Fada, and no permission was granted.
They advised the public to disregard any publications and documents being circulated about the wedding.
The actress and her husband defied her in-laws to hold their traditional marriage in her hometown with love and cheers from friends and loved ones.
Sharing a clip from their wedding, the pregnant Wofai Fada pleaded for love to lead. She proudly made it known to the public that she was married.
