Former Senator and Civil Rights Activist, Shehu Sani has expressed his concern over the increasing cases of manhood mutilation due to domestic disputes among couples in Nigeria.
Following the recent incident in Kaduna where a woman severed her husband’s manhood, Sani urged for the implementation of strict laws against such acts in Nigeria.
In an interview with DAILY POST in Abuja, Shehu Sani emphasized the need to protect men from being subjected to such violence by their partners.
Sani criticized the Kaduna housewife for her violent actions and called for punitive measures to safeguard men from such degrading and harmful acts.
He said: “The woman who cut the manhood of her husband in Kaduna has committed a serious crime. The rising cases of violence against manhood demand a specific law to protect it against being abused.
He stressed the importance of upholding the dignity and physical wellbeing of men in order for them to lead fulfilling lives.
