‘There’s no more big 3, it’s now big 4’ – Rema says

Rema drags Mavin Records for using him

Nigerian singer Divine Ikubor, also known as Rema, firmly stated that he finds it disrespectful for anyone to suggest that he is not on par with Afrobeats icons Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy, who are collectively known as the “Big 3.”

In response to criticism regarding his recent tweet introducing a “Big 4,” Rema reiterated his position as a prominent figure in the industry.

The 22-year-old musician addressed the controversy in his latest song, “Hehehe,” released under Mavin Global Holdings, where he directly confronts the ongoing discussions about his standing among the top Afrobeats artists.

In his song, Rema boldly sings;

“No more big 3, there’s now a big 4. People go para but what for? Dem go say I don’t deserve it but that is an insult.
