Lagos Police spokesman slams singer, Ayo Maff over ‘indecent’ lyrics

SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the Police Public Relations Officer in Lagos State Command, condemned rising singer Ayo Maff for the “indecent” lyrics in his new song ‘Last Week’.

Ayo Maff proudly references using the strong synthetic strain of cannabis known as Canadian Loud and contacting his dealer when he ran out on Saturday.

SP Hundeyin expressed concern over the lyrics, stating that drug abuse is a major factor leading to crime and imprisonment among youths.

He emphasized that if young people didn’t engage in drug abuse, many of them wouldn’t be in prison.
