Tiwa Savage, the famous Nigerian singer, actress, and filmmaker, expressed her worries about how to keep her nine-year-old son, Jamil Balogun, entertained during the summer break.
On her Instagram Story, she shared relatable updates that resonated with many parents.
One particular post on July 13 showed Tiwa Savage pretending to speak with the school secretary in a humorous video.
In the video, she says:
“Hey, it’s me. I know we are supposed to be on a break right now, but I just wanted to call you and let you know that, erm, well, the kids are missing you a lot right now. I’m missing you a lot too.”
The imaginary secretary responded:
“Ma’am, you really have to stop calling here,” to which Tiwa apologised.
Following the video, Tiwa Savage posted a written update expressing her exasperation. She wrote:
“Because how am I supposed to keep a 9-year-old occupied every summer break? Abeg let them resume school fast fast. #iwannaenjoymyself,” highlighting her desire for some personal downtime.
