Veteran musician Baba Fryo recently stirred up controversy in the Nigerian music industry by accusing upcoming artist Nasboi of plagiarizing lyrics from his classic song, “Denge Pose.”
Taking to social media,Fryo expressed his displeasure, claiming that his original work had been taken advantage of and calling for proper credit to be given.
The issue arose when Nasboi released a new track titled ‘Short Skirt,’ which featured lyrics directly borrowed from Baba Fryo’s ‘Denge Pose.’
Fryo issued a warning to Nasboi, urging him to contact him promptly to resolve the matter before further steps are taken.
