A suspect has reportedly been detained in connection with a stabbing incident involving Mounir Nasraoui, the father of Barcelona star Lamine Yamal.
Nasraoui, aged 38, was the victim of a stabbing by four individuals in Mataro, Catalonia on Wednesday evening, suffering multiple stab wounds.
Following the attack, Nasraoui was rushed to the hospital and initially in critical condition. Speaking from his hospital bed, Nasraoui described his experience as being “between life and death” during the attack.
The four suspects involved in the incident were promptly arrested and appeared in court in Catalonia. One of the accused has been imprisoned by the Court of Instruction No. 3 of Mataro, while the other three have been released on bail.
Despite their lack of prior criminal records, all four suspects are facing charges of attempted murder. As part of their bail conditions, the released suspects are prohibited from any contact with Nasraoui.
