Food critic Opeyemi Famakin recently reviewed Cubana Chiefpriest’s restaurant in Imo State, praising the ambience and local dishes but criticizing the handling of pastries, particularly a microwaved burger that lost its original taste.
Famakin suggested using an oven or heated lamps instead. Despite initially publicly thanking Famakin for his visit, Cubana Chiefpriest sent a private message expressing anger, hinting at possible repercussions, and warning of “karma.”
Famakin viewed this as a threat and expressed concern for his safety, stating that if anything happened to him in Imo State, people would know who to hold accountable.
