Cabinet reshuffling: Why Power Minister Adelabu must be removed – VeryDarkMan

In anticipation of the forthcoming cabinet reshuffle orchestrated by President Bola Tinubu, a prominent social commentator, Martins Otse, commonly referred to as VeryDarkMan or VDM, has advocated for the dismissal of the Minister of Power, Chief Adebayo Adelabu.

Recall that Bayo Onanuga, the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, articulated on Wednesday that a cabinet reshuffling is imminent.

There are indications suggesting that certain ministers may be relieved of their duties, whilst others may be reassigned to different portfolios.

In response, VeryDarkMan, in a video shared on his Facebook page on Friday, implored the President to consider retaining those ministers who are performing effectively.

Nevertheless, VeryDarkMan asserted that the Minister of Power ought to be dismissed, elucidating that the “segregation surrounding Band A, Band B, and Band C” is illogical.

He expressed his astonishment as to why a segment of the Nigerian populace could benefit from power supply for 20 hours daily, while others are deprived of such a service.

He said: “If at all any minister must be removed or reshuffled, it should be the Minister of Power. They need to remove that guy.

“My reason is this, the segregation surrounding the Band A, Band B and Band C issues makes no sense. What is the reason for that segregation? Are you trying to say that poor people do not have access to light?

“Is it that the poor people are not supposed to use light for 24 hours? It makes no sense because we are all Nigerians.”
