Rufai Oseni, a famous journalist, has stated that he will be shocked if anything good comes out of the Bobrisky’s prison tale.
Oseni made this statement while the scandal surrounding crossdresser Bobrisky’s prison odyssey continues to elicit lawsuits.
Oseni claims he will be astonished if the MAIN ISSUE here is ‘ignored’.
He claims that his colleague, another journalist, Fisayo Soyombo, has also discovered ‘jail defaults’, but nothing has been done about it.
He hopes the situation does not deteriorate into social media posturing and slander lawsuits, adding that vested interests frequently impede Nigeria’s desire to address the genuine issues.
In response to the ongoing brouhaha, the House of Representatives has summoned:
– EFCC Chairman Ola Olukayode
– Nigerian Correctional Service Comptroller General Haliru Nababa
– Bobrisky
– VeryDarkMan
– All officers involved in Bobrisky’s prosecution
They are required to appear on September 30th with relevant officers.
