Popular Nigerian musician Skales publicly criticized Green Africa airline for supposedly losing N15 million due to a cancelled flight.
Skales, whose real name is Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, vented his frustration in a video posted on Instagram.
He arrived at the airport on time for his flight to Akure, only to discover it had been cancelled because the pilot was sick.
The singer expressed his disappointment, as the cancellation meant he would miss out on a lucrative performance opportunity.
He wrote:
“Wow! I booked a flight to Akure… got to the airport early, checked in, and suddenly, you cancel the flight because your pilot is sick?
“This is unbelievable. I have lost money (I was paid N15 million by @seyivodi, for f*** sake) because of your horrible customer service. Did you know all along that your pilot was sick, or is this some kind of sick joke? You waited until flight time to inform us. I just can’t believe this. This country, man… we go see.”
