EPL: Amorim agrees deal to replace Ten Hag as Man Utd manager

According to The Athletic, Ruben Amorim, the manager of Sporting Lisbon, has reportedly agreed to take over at Manchester United following Erik ten Hag’s departure on Monday.

Manchester United has swiftly initiated talks with the 39-year-old coach and is prepared to pay the €10m release clause in Amorim’s current contract.

The manager is said to be interested in the position, and negotiations with Sporting for his release are expected to commence.

He was among the names being considered after Ten Hag’s exit, along with Xavi Hernandez, Thomas Frank, and Edin Terzic as potential candidates for the managerial role.
