JUST-IN: Again, court denies bail to Binance executive Tigran Gambaryan

Binance: Arrest me instead of my son, Gambaryan's mother begs FG

The federal high court in Abuja has refused to grant bail to Tigran Gambaryan, an executive linked to Binance Holdings Limited.

Judge Emeka Nwite announced the decision on Friday, deeming the bail application a misuse of the court system since the defendant had already appealed a previous ruling on the same issue.

Nwite clarified that having poor health while in custody does not automatically entitle a defendant to bail.

He pointed out that Gambaryan did not demonstrate that the Correctional Service facility was incapable of addressing his medical needs or arranging for him to see a specialist for further treatment.

“This application is bound to fail,” Nwite declared.

The judge instructed prison officials to ensure Gambaryan is taken to a specialist hospital in Abuja with security oversight.
