Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has been implicated in allegations of assaulting individuals across various demographics, including men, women, and a minor, through six newly filed lawsuits.
The musician is confronted with a series of recent accusations, one of which asserts that he inappropriately touched a 16-year-old aspiring hip-hop artist.
The plaintiffs are reportedly part of a collective, as articulated by their legal representatives, exceeding 100 purported victims who are currently pursuing litigation against Mr. Combs following his recent arrest on charges related to sex trafficking.
The aforementioned civil lawsuits were submitted against the hip-hop magnate in a federal court located in New York on Monday, according to local time. These lawsuits were filed under pseudonyms, with two individuals designated as Jane Does and four as John Does.
One of the John Does, a resident of North Carolina, claims that Mr. Combs inappropriately handled his genitalia when he was 16 years old during one of the rapper’s well-known white parties in 1998.
The individual contends that amidst a dialogue concerning a potential entry into the music industry, Combs unexpectedly commanded the then-teenager to disrobe.
The lawsuit filed by this individual posits that Combs rationalized the act as a necessary rite of passage for aspiring music stars.
The individual reported that he acquiesced due to feelings of fear, anxiety, and the perceived power disparity with Combs, only later recognizing that the event constituted sexual assault.
Prior to the lawsuit filed on Monday, Diddy had been formally accused solely of engaging in sexual conduct with adult individuals.
Thus far, Diddy’s legal representatives have refrained from making any statements regarding the recent legal developments.
