American rapper, Nicki Minaj, has refuted circulating reports that she is undertaking a sabbatical.
An X handle @NMCaviar started the rumours after tweeting; “Nicki Minaj announces she’s going on a hiatus.”
Reacting,Minaj clarified that she wasn’t taking a break from music.
She wrote, “Ain’t going no mthfkn where. Kiss my a** and hiatus.”
Nicki Minaj had previously engaged in a hiatus from her musical career.
In December 2019, she declared on the social media platform X that she was “retiring” from music in order to focus on family planning.
This announcement was made two months following her nuptials with her partner Kenneth Petty. Minaj welcomed her son into the world on September 30, 2020.
She has subsequently resumed her touring activities.
