Kanayo Kanayo advises; fans disagree

Nollywood veteran Kanayo O. Kanayo has expressed concerns about the Nigerian government’s heavy military and police presence in the South-Eastern part of the country.

In a video posted on his Instagram page on Wednesday, Kanayo questioned the authorities while highlighting the humiliation experienced by travellers in the region.

While comparing the region with his experience from Ibadan to Lagos, the actor said, “I left the Felele Olorunsogo area of Ibadan at 7:15 this morning and I am in Lagos state at exactly 8:15. I found out one thing, over the distance of 80 kilometres, I didn’t see any police or army checkpoints.
