According to Sonnenfeld, a powerful fart from Hollywood superstar Will Smith caused an unexpected three-hour delay in filming.
The incident occurred during a crucial scene inside a transforming car with Smith and co-star Tommy Lee Jones.
The hermetically sealed pod meant to aid in filming became an unwitting victim of Smith’s flatulence, leading to a much-needed break in the action.

“So we race the ladder over, Tommy reaches his leg out as the ladder is coming over, and races down the stairs. And what happened was, Will Smith is a farter.”
