Diddy’s list of alleged offenses appears to expand on a weekly basis. The founder of Bad Boy Records is already facing numerous accusations amounting to triple digits, but another allegation emerged on November 29.
A friend of the rapper’s former partner, Cassie, has claimed that the mogul physically assaulted her on September 26, 2016. She asserts that the Bad Boy founder forcibly pushed her around a hotel room. Furthermore, she alleges that Diddy groped her, subjected her to verbal abuse, and threatened her with violence should she attempt to resist. He reportedly referred to himself as the “Devil” during this incident.
Cassie’s acquaintance, Bryana “Bana” Bonglan, had previously been employed by Diddy. She was responsible for designing clothing for the mogul prior to the alleged occurrence.
The lawsuit filed by Bonglan’s attorney asserts that Diddy sexually assaulted her while they were together in a hotel room. There was physical aggression within the hotel room; however, the most alarming aspect of the incident is said to have taken place on the balcony. Bonglan alleges that Diddy held her over the 17th-floor balcony in a bid to instill fear in her.
“He forcibly groped her breasts, dangled her from a balcony and battered her,” the suit read. “She reasonably believed that Mr. Combs’ assault was him making good on his threats.”
Bonglan contended that this incident marked the conclusion of several months of harassment.
The lawsuit indicated that the balcony assault represented the “culmination of a series of threats, intimidation, and violence that characterized many of Ms. Bongolan’s interactions.”
The suit further characterized Diddy’s treatment of the alleged victim as “outrageous and abhorrent conduct” that infringed upon her “fundamental dignity, bodily autonomy, and sense of safety.”
According to Deadline, Bonglan is pursuing $10 million in damages. Additionally, she included photographs of herself with Diddy, as well as Cassie, as part of her lawsuit.
Diddy’s lawyers have responded quickly to the lawsuit.”Ms. Bangolan (sic) has expressed an intention to sue Mr. Combs and has sought legal representation to pursue her claims,” the statement read. “Mr. Sean Combs firmly denies these serious allegations and remains confident they will ultimately be proven baseless.”
