Normani returned to the stage at Spotify’s RNB X event in Washington, D.C., this week, giving fans a ‘Dopamine’ thrill.
Several months have gone since the singer released her much-anticipated album debut, and fans have been waiting for live and visual content from the artist.
Following the viewing, Normani teases that there will be more to come.
Speaking with Harper’s Bazaar, the 28-year-old said of her upcoming plans:
“I don’t know where this year went. But we’re definitely talking about a tour in the new year. We already have a set! I want to continue to connect with my fans and get back to doing what I love. That’s definitely in the works, along with some music videos…. I see those tweets!”
On collaborating with renowned choreographer Parris Goebel on her latest round of performances, Nornani said:
“The show is really what I wanted to convey visually. Working with Parris is incredible. I have the most amazing cast of dancers, and we just put our brains together. It’s been really cool working alongside a powerful, bad*** female in this male-dominated industry. She did an amazing job at pulling the best qualities out of me, even parts of myself that haven’t even been showcased yet. Everything has helped elevate the music, which is what I wanted.”
