Singer Shallipopi, whose real name is Crown Uzama, recently proclaimed Olamide as the reigning king of Nigerian street music.
In an interview with Naija FM, Shallipopi revealed that he featured Olamide in his song ‘Order’ due to his immense popularity on the streets.
“Baddo [Olamide] is the father and king of Nigerian street music. So I had to feature him on ‘Order’ because it is a street song and Olamide owns the street,” he said.
Additionally, he disclosed that he has left Dapper Music after his contract expired, denying any rumors of a feud with his former label.
He assured that he and the label are still on good terms.
