Nigerian former prominent model and fashionista from Kampala city, Doreen Kabareebe, has disclosed her enduring regret regarding the day she entered Prophet Samuel Kakande’s Synagogue Church located at Ku Bbiri.
In various online videos, Doreen Kabareebe recounted her aspirations to travel to the United States in pursuit of improved economic opportunities.
The former model expressed her uncertainty regarding how to commence this journey. She indicated that this was the moment she communicated her intentions to her mother, who persuaded her to seek assistance from Pastor Kakande, with the hope that the divine intervention of the Holy Spirit could assist her.
Nevertheless,Doreen Kabareebe disclosed that upon entering the synagogue, her life took a tumultuous turn. The financial resources she had accrued from her endeavors in Dubai inexplicably disappeared.
She was instructed to remit Shs500k in order to receive specialized visa prayers from Kakande himself, yet these efforts proved futile. Kabareebe further articulated that these events transpired around the year 2020.
In 2021, a photograph of her on a motorcycle taxi (bodaboda) circulated widely, rendering her a subject of ridicule on social media platforms. The former model stated that since witnessing the unfolding events, she has been engaged in prayer and has been urging her mother to withdraw from the church.
“I keep praying for my mother to open her eyes and leave this Church and I know one day she will. I can not distance myself from her because she brought me into this world. Naye katti nkole ntya because it looks like mama wange omulunji tuli bakumulwanila ne Pasita,” she said.
