Karen Huger may be the Grand Dame of the ‘Real Housewives of Potomac.’ Still, she found herself in a less-than-regal situation after being convicted of driving under the influence.
According to a new rumour, the 61-year-old’s future on the Bravo hit is questionable following the drama.
According to Page Six, a source close to production claims executives “are aware and have much to consider” following Huger’s conviction.
As previously reported, she was found guilty of the March 2024 event in which she crashed her car. Following the verdict, shocking footage of a dishevelled Huger was made public.
Police body-cam footage saw her declare that she was “Thomas Jefferson’s concubine” among other eyebrow-raising remarks after being detained by officers on the scene.
Per the source:
“She would need to clean up her act [for Bravo] to move forward with her.”
It’s noteworthy that casting decisions for long-running shows like RHOP are made post the reunion.
And it appears Huger may not have to wait too long to learn of her TV fate. For, this week Andy Cohen called on fans of the show to submit questions for the season 9 reunion as it is taping imminently:
As for the legal ramifications of her conviction, Huger will be sentenced on January 29, 2025.
