The US President-elect, Donald Trump, has responded to the passing of former President Jimmy Carter.
In a statement posted on his official Facebook page, Trump praised the efforts made by the deceased to enhance the lives of all Americans. He urged his followers, especially fellow Americans, to keep the grieving family in their thoughts and prayers, emphasizing that Americans are indebted to Carter for his service.
He wrote, “The challenges Jimmy faced as president came at a pivotal time for our country and he did everything in his power fo improve the lives of all Americans. “For that, we all owe him a debt of gratitude. Melania and I are thinking warmly of the Carter Family and their loved ones during this difficult time.“We urge everyone to keep them in their heart and prayers’.
