President Bola Tinubu praised FCT Minister Nyesom Wike as one of the top-performing Ministers in his cabinet.
Tinubu’s comments came in the midst of allegations of land grabbing in the Federal Capital Territory.
During his first presidential media chat in Lagos State, Tinubu defended Wike, stating that he is a dedicated and effective Minister.
The president emphasized that Wike’s focus on his job is evident, despite the controversies surrounding his activities.
Tinubu urged Nigerians to be more compliant and appreciative of Wike’s efforts, highlighting the Minister’s performance and character.
The president said, “He is a good man. Nyesom Wike is a performing Minister. Nigerians lack compliance. We don’t pay our grand rent on time, we don’t remember the things to do”.
