The federal government announced a free train ride for any Nigerian who wishes to travel to celebrate the Christmas season.
Mohammed Idris, Minister of Information and National Orientation, made the remark on Monday while briefing press on the outcome of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting.
He said that the free rail travel will begin on December 20, 2024 and terminate on January 5, 2025.
According to Idris, Nigerians have access to train rides on all lines where rail services are now provided.
