Nigerian artist Candy Bleakz has expressed her perspective on the increasing phenomenon of relocation, commonly referred to as “japa,” encouraging Nigerians to meticulously evaluate their choices prior to departing the nation.
In a recent video presentation, Candy Bleakz underscored the frequently disregarded difficulties associated with residing overseas, particularly in nations such as the United Kingdom.
She accentuated the rigorous work schedules, severe climatic conditions, and elevated living expenses that numerous migrants encounter.
The singer warned that the actual experience of living abroad often contrasts starkly with the idealized concept of “greener pastures.”

She advised Nigerians who are prospering within their homeland to reconsider their intentions to relocate, stressing that the pressures and routine nature of life abroad may not justify the sacrifice.
According to Candy Bleakz, relocation should be contemplated solely as a final option, when opportunities within Nigeria are limited.
