Marcus Rashford, the Manchester United forward, is still determined to continue playing for the Red Devils despite expressing a desire to leave his childhood club just a month ago.
Rashford was initially left out by manager Ruben Amorim for the Manchester Derby in December, prompting speculation about his future. Following the game, the England international made headlines by declaring his readiness for a new challenge and new opportunities.
Despite not featuring for United in recent matches and being excluded from the matchday squad for eight out of the last nine games, Rashford’s departure from Old Trafford seemed imminent, with Borussia Dortmund reportedly interested in signing him on loan.
However, a report from The Telegraph suggests that Rashford’s time at United may not be over yet. The 27-year-old is said to be eager and prepared to play if called upon by Amorim. Additionally, Rashford has been putting in extra effort during training sessions in a bid to showcase his value to the former Sporting manager.
It appears that his future at United is still uncertain, but he remains dedicated to the club and ready to contribute if given the opportunity.
This includes going to Carrington on Sunday while his teammates were at Old Trafford preparing to face Brighton in the Premier League – a game they lost 3-1.
