Speed Darlington was granted bail in the amount of N20 million with one surety in a Federal High Court in Abuja on Wednesday after pleading not guilty to a cybercrime charge.
The judge, Justice Ekerete Akpan, ordered that the surety must be a Level 10 civil servant residing in Abuja and must provide an affidavit of means.
The judge also required Speed Darlington to surrender his international passport and for both the surety and defendant to submit two recent passport photographs to the court registrar.
He was ordered to be remanded in Kuje Correctional Centre until his bail conditions are met.
The trial is scheduled to resume on March 18.
