Davido has decided to delay the release of his fifth album by a month. Originally set to come out on March 15, 2025, the new release date is now April 18. While the reason for the change was not disclosed, fans are eagerly anticipating the album’s release.
The year 2025 has been eventful for Davido so far, with a fifth Grammy nomination at the 67th Grammys for Best African Song Performance. He is also nominated in five categories at the upcoming 17th Headies, including Artiste of the Year.

Two singles, ‘Awuke’ featuring YG Marley and ‘Funds’ featuring Chike and OdumoduBlvck, have already been released in anticipation of the album. In a social media post, Davido described his upcoming album as something straight from the heart.
The caption read:
