I was not fired from Honest Bunch Podcast – Nedu clarifies

Nigerian media personality Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, also known as Nedu, recently addressed his departure from The Honest Bunch podcast.

The actor left the podcast amidst controversy surrounding an episode with Deeone, who accused VeryDarkMan of being attracted to men.

In response, VDM accused Nedu of orchestrating the allegations and claimed that Nedu had been trying to get him on the show since 2024, even offering to buy him a car.

After VDM’s allegations, he announced he was leaving the podcast, sparking rumors that he was fired.

However, he clarified at a press briefing in Lagos that he chose to leave due to personal attacks, not because he was dismissed from the show.

“Let me clarify that I wasn’t fired from Honest Bunch Podcast. I decided to step away when the attacks became personal. So that the show can go on,” he said.
