Santos legend Neymar has disclosed that Real Madrid presented him with a blank check in the past.
Neymar states that the Spanish giants were eager to acquire his services and were prepared to meet any demands he had.
This offer came about when he departed Santos in 2013.
Despite the tempting offer from Real Madrid, the Brazilian ultimately decided to join LaLiga rivals Barcelona due to the presence of Ronaldinho and Lionel Messi.
“Real Madrid’s offer was a blank check, they told me I can have whatever I want… but I wanted Barça with my heart,” Neymar told Podpah.
“I’d have made 3x more money at Real Madrid. Florentino always liked me.
“But Ronaldinho played there and I wanted to play with Messi”.
