Pastor Odumeje cautions enthusiastic fans against recording him with their phones, stating that he is not a celebrity but a man of God.
He made this clear to his congregation during a recent church service in Anambra.
The preacher emphasized that he dislikes being filmed and that many people who do not know his background quickly pull out their phones to record him.
Odumeje stressed that his focus is on performing miracles and being a pastor, nothing more. He warns that those who record him could face spiritual consequences, risking the loss of their phones.

“I don’t do social media things; I’ve told you people before nobody should video me, if you see me on the road stop bringing your phone to take pictures of me.
If you get home I will scatter that phone spiritually, I’m that bad.
I’m a prophet; I’m not a celebrity. Forever and ever I remain the same.”
