Music executive Ubi Franklin has sparked conversation by admitting to owing around 30 million naira in debt and addressing backlash on social media.
This revelation comes after reports emerged that Ubi Franklin was dismissed by Chioma Rowland, the wife of popular Afrobeats artist Davido.
The speculation gained momentum when the entire DMW crew neglected to acknowledge Ubi Franklin’s birthday on social media, prompting questions.
In a video posted online, Ubi Franklin disclosed that he is currently in debt of approximately 30 million naira, while also being owed a staggering 782 million naira, attributing it to common business practices.
“I am not going to say I don’t owe anybody.The total number of money I’m owing is not more than 30 million naira, while people are owing me almost 782 million “, He stated.
Responding to social media criticism, Ubi Franklin asserted that he doesn’t require legitimacy, labeling the backlash as redundant.
