Tinubu increases 2025 budget proposal to N54.2 trillion

President Bola Tinubu has proposed a budget increase to N54.2 trillion for the year 2025, up from the initial N49.7 trillion.

The additional funds come from increased revenues generated by various government agencies, including the Federal Inland Revenue Service, Nigeria Customs Service, and other government-owned entities.

During a Senate plenary session, Senator Godswill Akpabio read the President’s letter detailing the budget increase.
