British rapper Skepta has raised concerns following controversial Nigerian singer Portable’s recent outburst towards a former collaborator. Portable, known for his habit of calling out those he works with, targeted rapper and music executive Olamide, ridiculing him for his reported falling out with former signee Asake.
In his rant, Portable claimed that Olamide only featured him on a remix of his song “Zazu” instead of offering him a record label deal. He also accused Olamide of poaching his producer, dancer, and promoter.
Worried fans began expressing their concerns for Skepta, who had featured Portable on his track “Tony Montana” last year. This led to the UK rapper trending online.
Skepta then made a post asking, “Why am I trending? Lol.”
A fan responded in the comments, “I think you know why,” to which Skepta replied, “I’ve just seen Portable is dragging somebody again. Apparently, I’m next. We dey wait lol.”
