Popular Nigerian TikTok user Peller has opened up about an unexpected and seemingly awkward encounter with Burna Boy’s mother and manager, Bose Ogulu, at a recent fashion event.
Peller, who graced the runway alongside his girlfriend, Jarvis, and other models, documented the experience in a two-minute video shared on his page while the footage showcased behind-the-scenes moments and his time on the runway, one particular incident stood out—his brief but noticeable interaction with Bose Ogulu.
In the clip, Burna Boy’s mother warmly greets and embraces several people. However, when Peller attempts to greet her, she ignores him.
The TikTok star, visibly surprised, later addressed the situation in his video, saying, “So, when we were going home and snapping pictures, there was a woman that came, and I tried to greet her, but suddenly we didn’t greet. I’m sorry.”
The moment has since sparked debates online, with fans speculating whether the snub was intentional or simply a misunderstanding. Bose Ogulu has yet to comment on the situation.
One social media user, @KING GREATNESS T.V, reacted, saying, “That’s Burna Boy’s mother who refused to shake your hand. That’s really bad. She is Burna Boy’s manager, I guess she has pride. I am proud of you, Peller. You have shaken hands with people richer than her and her son.”
Another user, @spendy 🔮🪩🪬🧿🦅 💵🤑💯, added, “I didn’t like what Burna Boy’s mother did to Peller. The boy was humble and wanted to greet her, but she ignored him. I don’t like this, seriously, and Peller did not even know who she was.”
