Diddy scored a major legal victory this week as a judge dismissed five of the nine allegations in Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones’ $30 million lawsuit against him.
Jones, a former producer on Diddy’s 2023 album, had accused the mogul of coercing him into illegal activities under threat of violence.
The judge also threw out Jones’ breach of contract claim and emotional distress allegations, ruling them insufficient.
Per the ruling, the plaintiff’s submission was deemed to be:
“…replete with inaccurate statements of law, conclusory accusations, and inappropriate ad hominem attacks on opposing counsel.”
This ruling is a significant win for Diddy as he faces upcoming federal criminal charges for sex trafficking and racketeering.
