Abdul-Azeez Adediran, popularly known as Jandor, has officially resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). He cited indiscipline and anti-party activities as key reasons for his departure.
Speaking at a press briefing on Monday in Ikeja, Lagos, Jandor stated that his decision was influenced by the actions of some PDP leaders, including former Deputy National Chairman, Chief Olabode George, whom he accused of working against the party during the 2023 elections.
“We will consult widely with everybody and then take the decision to collapse our structure to another platform. What is majority on the ground now is that we have left the Peoples Democratic Party.”
Jandor, who contested as PDP’s governorship candidate in Lagos, was accompanied by many supporters, signaling a potential realignment of political forces ahead of future elections.
