Darasimi, the estranged wife of popular comedian Ganiu Morufu, aka Ijoba Lande, has finally addressed the infidelity allegations leveled against her.
In an interview with socialite Esabod and other TikTok influencers on Sunday, Darasimi denied cheating on Lande. She explained that the viral claims stemmed from a “Truth or Dare” game initiated by her friend, Marygold.
Lande had earlier alleged that at least 21 men in the entertainment industry, including Yoruba actor Babatunde Tayo (Baba Tee), were involved with his wife, leading to their separation.
However, Darasimi refuted these claims, insisting that her marriage did not end because of infidelity. Recalling an incident with Baba Tee, she stated:
“The first time I met Baba Tee was in July last year when Marygold invited me to his house. He didn’t know I was Lande’s wife. While we were there, Marygold suggested a ‘Truth or Dare’ game. She later stripped naked and gave Baba Tee a BJ while he was smoking ‘Igbo.’ At some point, she dared him to give me a doggy style, but I refused. Instead, I only sat on his lap, and nothing happened between us.”
She further challenged Lande to provide proof of her alleged affairs, asserting that he was fully aware she never slept around.
Meanwhile, Baba Tee has admitted to having a short-lived sexual relationship with Darasimi but claimed it was unintentional, blaming it on being drunk during the game. The 45-year-old actor later issued a public apology to Ijoba Lande via Facebook, writing:
“I am deeply sorry from the bottom of my heart, brother, Lande. Deep how Dara became Lande’s wife without my knowledge…Hmmm. I fear women.”
Despite the controversy, Darasimi has remained firm in her stance, stating that the real reason for her breakup with Lande remains personal and unrelated to infidelity.
