Shannon Sharpe’s recent interview with Coco Jones on Club Shay Shay has sparked unexpected tension with SZA, all because of a BBL-related question.
During the conversation, Sharpe asked Jones about SZA’s past comments on regretting her Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL), inquiring whether she had spoken to anyone who regretted the procedure.
Jones tactfully responded:
“Um, no. The girls that I talk to, they be like, ‘Girl, do this.’”
While many praised Jones for handling the question well, SZA wasn’t pleased. In a now-deleted comment, she called out Sharpe’s approach, labeling it “incredibly tacky” and expressing disappointment that her name was brought up in the discussion.
She also hinted at her frustration, writing:
“I wanted to come here too dah well.”
The comment has since been deleted, but it has sparked online debates about how women’s choices are discussed in media interviews.
