Controversial American rapper Kanye West has recently expressed his lack of admiration for fellow artist Kendrick Lamar’s music.
Despite acknowledging Lamar’s talent as a rapper, Kanye West admitted that he personally does not enjoy his music.
He specifically mentioned his disapproval of Kendrick Lamar being featured on Playboi Carti’s new album ‘I Am Music’.
On his X handle, West wrote, “I don’t like Kendrick Lamar’s music. He raps very good but I didn’t need to hear him on Carti’s album.”
This is not the first time Kanye West has been vocal about his opinions on fellow rappers.
In the past, he criticized J.Cole for apologizing to Kendrick Lamar over a diss track.
J.Cole had publicly expressed regret for dissing Lamar during a performance at the 2024 Dreamville Festival, referring to it as the “lamest sh*t” he had ever done.
West disagreed with J.Cole’s apology, arguing that it was a mistake to apologize to Kendrick Lamar.
