Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo recently opened up about her charitable efforts and support for the late singer Mohbad in a candid interview with Seun Oloketuyi.
Reflecting on the blessings she and her children enjoy, she emphasized the importance of individual responsibility, stating that no one would accompany her to the afterlife or sacrifice their own well-being to feed her if she were hungry.
This sense of self-reliance has long been a guiding principle for the actress, who believes that everyone must pave their own path in life.
As a loving mother of two, Iyabo Ojo also shared her perspective on parenting, noting that having children at a young age can keep one feeling youthful.
She credited her daughter Priscilla for introducing her to TikTok, a move that has proven lucrative for the actress.
While Iyabo Ojo has expressed her hopes for Priscilla to follow in her footsteps by marrying young and starting a family, she respects her daughter’s autonomy and does not pressure her on the subject.
“Good pay. I feel like what I am reaping today or my children are reaping today is the good that I have done.
When I die today, nobody is dying with me. When I am hungry right now, no matter how much you love me, you won’t give me your womb or your intestines to quench my hunger; I have to sort myself out.
Every man is on his own. When you have kids early, trust me you don’t want to grow old because your kids will always make you feel young. Priscilla talked me into using TikTok, if I didn’t have her in my life, I would probably not have made so much money on TikTok”.
