Ruben Amorim, the manager of Manchester United, has stated that he has no regrets about accepting the job, despite facing doubts about the timing of his appointment.
Although he has struggled since replacing Erik ten Hag in November, winning only six matches in the Premier League, Amorim remains content with his decision to take on the role mid-season.
As the Red Devils look likely to finish with their lowest placing since 1990, Amorim remains optimistic and focused ahead of Sunday’s game against Bournemouth.
“No regrets,” said he, when asked about his view on taking the United job.
“Not in this moment. If you ask me four months ago, with all the problems, maybe you feel that feeling I should be stronger in saying I will start at the beginning of the season.
“But today, I had the feeling it is something that is going to help us in the future.”
