In a recent conversation with content creator Enzo, musical artist Divine Ikubor, also known as Rema, stated that Nigerian parents do not scold children who financially support the family.
Rema encouraged Enzo to get a tattoo like his own, but Enzo mentioned that his mother would disapprove.
Enzo shared how his mother ignored him for days after he braided his hair, emphasizing the importance of working hard and claiming that parents do not criticize children who contribute financially.
Enzo: “My mum won’t let me get a tattoo. The time I did braids, she didn’t talk to me for days. It was bad.”
Rema: “Don’t worry, you just need to hustle a little bit more. Wait till you cash out big. Nigerian parents don’t advise breadwinners.”
Rema has previously mentioned that he became the breadwinner of his family at a young age following his father’s passing, and he proudly shared that he made his first million at the age of 17 and gave it all to his mother.
