Sean Kingston has returned to his hometown, but the pressure is still on.
Despite his inability to pay the $100,000 bond initially, he is no longer in a Miami detention center. Instead, he is under home detention with GPS monitoring and has surrendered his passport after finally paying the bond.
Now his lawyer, Zeljka Bozanic, confirms to TMZ that:
“Mr. Kingston’s bond has been posted and he is the process of being released.”
Recently, Sean Kingston and his mother were found guilty of all charges in a federal wire fraud case involving the theft of luxury goods totaling over $1 million.
The potential consequences are serious, with Kingston facing up to 20 years in prison per count at his sentencing in July. Only time will tell how this situation will unfold.
