Toni Braxton and Birdman have had a tumultuous relationship over the past few years. They secretly tied the knot in August 2024, but Braxton filed for divorce shortly after. This came after a history of dating and getting engaged in 2018, only to call it off the following year.
However, in a surprising turn of events, they reconciled and were still together until their split in 2022.
TMZ recently revealed that Braxton had filed for divorce in 2024, but the couple had a change of heart and called off the divorce in January of the following year.
The outlet reports, “Toni and Birdman quietly – and very secretly, obviously – tied the knot on August 8, 2024… the wedding date is mentioned in the divorce docs Toni filed 2 weeks later.”
It is reported that Toni Braxton declared the marriage had been “irretrievably broken” in her filed document and that the star “lists their date of separation as August 10.”
Despite all the ups and downs, fans were shocked to learn about their secret marriage.
Prior to Birdman, Braxton was previously married to musician Keri Lewis.
